DETROIT \u2013 February 24, 2026 \u2013 <\/b>This April, Michigan Central will open The Michigan Central Mezz<\/i>, a new work and collaboration space that expands access to the innovation district, already home to more than 2,000 professionals across 240+ companies.<\/p>\n

Michigan Central\u2019s 30-acre district offers something difficult to replicate: an unmatched ecosystem of people, product development infrastructure, support services, programming, and workspace where teams of all sizes, across many industries and functions, collaborate side by side. Being inside the district means direct access to the connections and capabilities needed to accelerate innovation beyond what any one organization\u2019s internal programs can achieve alone. Startups, Fortune 500 companies, universities, government agencies, creatives, investors, and nonprofits are part of Michigan Central, and The Mezz expands the resources they can leverage.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mezz spans 17,000 square feet on the mezzanine level of Michigan Central Station, giving people the unique opportunity to innovate from the iconic, historic building. It provides a variety of desks and work setups, meeting rooms, quiet zones, a kitchen, private wellness rooms, enterprise-grade tech, and views of both the ground floor of The Station and the surrounding neighborhoods. Access to The Mezz requires Michigan Central membership. Members receive 24\/7 access to the space, exclusive events, and opportunities to connect with venture capital firms, university programs, and industry partners. Additional membership amenities include a fitness center with showers and lockers, a digital operations and collaboration platform, and discounted rates for the many rentable meeting and event spaces across Michigan Central\u2019s district.<\/span><\/p>\n
